David stood at reception, signing some papers and bluntly flirting with the receptionist. He turned as he heard Georgia's voice.
"Please, Ty. We'll go home as soon as I've done this. Just wait a moment, sweetheart," she pleaded, a tired expression on her pretty face.
He walked over to her. "Are you alright?"
She looked up at him and attempted a smile. "We're both just tired,"
He nodded, "It's been a long day"
"Yeah," Georgia said before glancing over, "Ty, no! Leave that plant alone!"
David walked over to the small boy and knelt down beside him. "Oh you don't want to play with a plant, that’s no fun!" He got a toy sonic screwdriver out of his pocket. "Hey look, now you can be The Doctor!" he said, handing it to him and smiling as the boy moved away from the planets and focussed on the toy.
Georgia breathed a silent sigh of relief and got on with signing her forms, blinking back tears hastily.
David kept Ty occupied until Georgia had finished and she walked over to them. "Sorry, looks like I just gave him a new distraction..." He paused when he saw her face. "What's wrong?"
She shook her head, not wanting to break down in front of him. "We better go," she said, taking her son's hand.
"Georgia, if there's anything I can do..."
She stared at him, starting to crumple. "Mummy lets go!" Tyler shrieked, tugging at her hand. Georgia looked away, "Alright!"
"I'll see you tomorrow," David frowned. If she didn't want him to help then he wouldn't.
She looked at him desperately before nodding.
The next day, David went to her trailer. He had to know that she was ok.
She was curled up on her bed, attempting to fall asleep when she heard a knock at the door. "Come in," she called,
He did so and shut the door behind him. "Are you alright?"
She nodded, watching him warily.
He went over to sit next to her. "How's Ty?"
"He's fine. Dad's looking after him today,"
He nodded, "That's good,"
She nodded, exhaling slowly.
"Tell you what, how about I take you out tonight? I think you need a bit of a breather"
Georgia smiled weakly. "That would be nice,"
She yawned, unintentionally falling against him.
He smiled and wrapped an arm around her. She'd only been filming for a few days, but they had connected instantly. "You all ready for the next scene?"
"I'm sure you'll do great, Joe will be all over you,"
"I'm not in the mood,"
He nodded, "Well I guess you'll just have to put up with it"
"Do you want to be left alone?"
Georgia glanced up at him. "I'm sorry. I'm just... tired,"
""I'll leave you to get some sleep then,"
She nodded. "Thanks David," she said quietly.
"I'll come back later so I can help you with your scene,"
She couldn’t help but smile at that. "Bet you will,"
He winked and hugged her before leaving her alone in the trailer.
Georgia settled down, feeling a bit better.
A while later he came back to wake her up. He sat next to her and ran his fingers through her hair. "Georgia?" he whispered.
"It's nearly time for your scene," he whispered.
She nodded and sat up, blinking her sleepy eyes. She paused for a moment, "Bed hair?"
He laughed, "Yeah"
She groaned. "Where's my bag?" she yawned, looking around.
He found it and passed it to her.
"Thanks." She dug her brush out and began to comb through her hair. "Better?"
"Yeah, much" he smiled.
"Now, let me give you some tips for your scene,"
He smiled. "Right so, you need to look at him intensely. Stare into his eyes. Make it obvious what you want. Speak slowly and in a low, deep voice. Basically make yourself look irresistible"
"and smile, remember to smile"
She could help but smile at him.
He Grinned, "Not at me"
She raised an eyebrow and playfully scowled at him instead.
He laughed, "Ok, stick with he smiling"
She went to the extreme, grinning manically at him.
"Stop it!" he smirked, playfully pushing her away from him.
Georgia pushed him back.
She went and checked herself out in the mirror.
"You look great,"
"No problem," he grinned.
"Probably be sent to make up though," she nodded.
He nodded, "I'll see you later"
The next time he saw her she was getting ready to shoot her scene and he decided to watch. He winked at her as he watched her get ready.
She stuck her tongue out at him.
He laughed and watched as the scene started. He smiled. It was perfect. He blushed slightly as he looked at her and felt himself feel a little turned on.
As soon as the director called cut, Georgia grinned at Joe and joked with him about their kiss.
David walked up to her, "See, you did really well"
"Very convincing, are you sure you don't fancy him?"
"Then you must of been thinking of someone you fancy," he smiled.
She grinned. "Wouldn’t you like to know,"
"Maybe," he smirked.
Georgia smiled at him.
"You're not gonna tell me then?"
She shook her head.
"It's my secret,"
She giggled, "Come on, it’s probably time for the next scene. Lots of running. I like the running,"
"Yup" he smiled.
She took his hand without realising and they wandered over to where the filming was taking place.
He squeezed her hand.
She turned and smiled at him, thinking that she should feel embarrassed but feeling more comfortable.
""Are you sure you don't fancy anyone..."
"I never said that,"
"So you do?" he teased.
She flushed. "Yes,"
"Ooo" he smiled.
"Everyone fancies someone,"
"Is it someone from work?"
"I'm not telling you!"
"I won't tell," he promised.
He smiled, "I'll get you drunk tonight and you'll tell me!"
"Why are you so eager to know anyway?"
